The 2025 edition of the Guide Hachette des Vins highlights two Chavin wines, recognized for their quality and finesse.
- The Chavin Côtes-de-Provence Rosé 2023 received 2 stars, praised for its elegance and well-balanced harmony. The guide notes a delicate bouquet with aromas of freesia, old rose, tea, and lemon, accompanied by a perfectly structured, round, and silky palate.
- The Chavin Rouge IGP Pays d’Oc Cuvée Réserve Cabernet-Sauvignon 2023 was also awarded 1 star. This wine impressed the jury with its rich aromas of stewed red fruits and its smooth, spicy palate, reflecting an approachable and flavorful “New World” style.
This edition of the guide is particularly special as it marks the 40th anniversary of the Guide Hachette des Vins, a cornerstone of French viticulture since 1985. To celebrate this milestone, the multi-Michelin-starred chef Pierre Gagnaire was chosen as the patron of this edition, in recognition of the excellence of the French wine heritage.
These distinctions reinforce Chavin’s commitment to producing high-quality wines, combining tradition and innovation, and contributing to the excellence of the terroir.
