The renowned international challenge Gilbert & Gaillard 2023 has rewarded several products from the Pierre Chavin range. It is a multitude of gold medals that honor the 2022 vintages. Pierre Chavin IGP Pays d’Oc Chardonnay, Pierre Chavin AOP Côtes de Provence and Pierre Chavin Côtes de Gascogne are the big winners. Whether they are packaged in Bag in Box or 75cl bottle, they were unanimously approved.
Tasting notes :
Pierre Chavin Pays d’Oc, Chardonnay – 2022: Nice bright pale yellow color. Pleasant nose of ripe fruits evoking notably white peach. Same register in the mouth which is balanced and fresh. A fruity wine that will be perfect for an aperitif or a salad.
Pierre Chavin Côtes de Gascogne – 2022 : Very pale yellow color. Pleasant nose between ripe grape and more exotic tone. Same generous aromatic palette in the mouth with a citric dominance and a nice balance. A convivial wine for seafood.
Pierre Chavin Côtes de Provence – 2022 : Pale orange pink color. Pleasant nose of small red fruits with a note of gunflint. Same pure register in the mouth which seduces by its freshness and its ease of access. A thirst-quenching rosé for all summer dishes. International “
