It is certainly one of the most magnificent event of the year, the Nobel Prize Award Ceremony and the majestic Nobel Banquet, taking place every December 10th, the day Alfred Nobel died, gathers more than 1 350 hosts around the King and Queen of Sweden, in the mythic « Blue Hall » of the Stockholm’s City Hall.
In a refined and elegant protocol, laureates receive a golden medal and a diploma from King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden.
The sumptuous Banquet taking place after the ceremony is the biggest world event, with 500 meters of linen on 60 tables, 260 waiters, 7 000 porcelain pieces and 10 000 silver cutlery.
ÔPIA, alcohol-free organic and no-fermented beverage from Pierre Chavin, has been selected for the « 2017 Nobel Banquet Menu » elaborated by Chef Sayan Isaksson and Pastry Chef Daniel Roos, on this 10 december 2017. This way, ÔPIA sparkling and red, has been choosen to be enthroned in the mythic « Blue Hall » by the most very influential persons in the world.
ÔPIA is the first « non-alcoholic wine » served at this banquet, the sparkling 100% Chardonnay and the red 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, allowed to sublimate delicate dishes of the exceptional menu.
